Debut answer as 877 numbers are sally telemarketing! Won't stop callngSck f these calls! Even Fettered with National N Tho calls useless!
They knew my first AND last name, as well as my address. I didn’t want to indulge them any further, but they claimed they were a debt collection agency. Before they said their company name which was basic and just said debt collection agency in it seemingly so as to not be specific enough to be an actual company name lmao, and when I quickly asked them what they do as a company he said he would “get to that later”. I felt I was going to be sold a story and be scammed into buying gift cards at a nearby grocery store and “give them the gift card number and pin to lower my debt”, which didn’t all happen but the conversation sounded like the beginning of one of those scams. Now, it’s possible this person was legitimate but they sure didn’t seem to want to explain in detail what he does besides wOrK fOr ThE “company”. I told him my address he (got correct) told me was from a couple years back (the truth, lol) and he didn’t seem to care to know my updated address? At the end of the call I claimed to not be me and hung up because I wanted not to waste my time possibly being lied to for an hour or so straight.
I need to call the number or face legal action
